VERTIQ Reads Your EPDs

Upload EPD PDFs and VERTIQ reads them, shows how each one counts for your credit, and lets you attach them. The EPD panel also helps you find EPDs and gives industry-average estimates while you wait for them.

EPDs from your documents

  • Found in your documents. The EPD panel of each EPD credit lists the EPDs VERTIQ read from your uploads, with the file and page each came from.
  • How each one counts. Every EPD shows how it counts for the credit's LEED version (v4, v4.1 or v5), and anything to check: expired, wrong declaration type, missing summary table, a baseline from another region, and so on.
  • Attach one, or attach all. Nothing is attached on its own. Remove an EPD at any time, including after a trial ends.
  • LEED v5 suggestions. For v5 credits, an attached EPD shows a suggested credit-input row labelled "Suggested, not applied". It goes into your inputs only when you choose "Use in credit input", as a new saved revision with the EPD as its source.
  • Workboard. Credit cards show how many EPDs were found in your documents and are not attached yet.

Finding EPDs

  • Registry search links for each material category your credit needs, on UL SPOT, EPD International, Smart EPD, EC3, ASTM, ECO Portal and NSF. Each opens on its own website.
  • Industry-wide EPDs. A list of trade association EPDs for each category, with their validity and how they count in your LEED version.
  • Estimates while you wait. For a category with no EPD yet, the panel shows the industry-average value (CLF 2026). It is labelled as an estimate and never counts toward points.

Removed

  • EC3 search is gone, and data and evidence files stored from earlier EC3 searches have been deleted. Scores do not change: EC3 selections never counted toward points.

Fixed

  • LEED v5 BD+C MRc2: a material from another region is accepted and flagged for review instead of being rejected.
  • Long button labels wrap instead of being cut off, including Workboard credit names on a phone.
  • After a trial ends, project admins can still remove project members.
  • If VERTIQ cannot read the drawings for a credit, the result now says so instead of quietly leaving that data out.
  • If you delete an uploaded EPD PDF, EPDs read from it stay attached and the EPD panel asks you to upload the original again.
  • The suggested name for a new project uses your local date.
