More From Your Documents, Better Embodied Carbon and the Latest LEED Addenda

VERTIQ reads more LEED facts from the documents you upload, extends its embodied carbon estimate to more credits with better data, and applies the latest USGBC addenda.

VERTIQ reads more LEED facts from the documents you upload, extends its embodied carbon estimate to more credits with better data, and applies the latest USGBC addenda.

  • More credits filled from your documents. Upload the document and VERTIQ reads the facts, with the document recorded as the source: IAQ test reports for LEED v5 O+M air quality testing, rainwater and greywater reports for LEED v4 indoor water, waste management plans and final waste reports for construction waste, and the project narrative or energy model report for the construction scope. When something is missing, the result names the document to upload.
  • Construction waste without extra setup. Volume-only hauler reports are converted to weight with the USGBC v5 C&D calculator default densities, and for LEED v4 and v4.1 both options are calculated and the higher-scoring one is applied, with the reason shown.
  • Embodied carbon for more credits. The LCA estimate now also covers LEED v5 ID+C MRc2 and LEED v4.1 BD+C MRc1, and lists the rating system requirements still open. Concrete uses the NIST ready-mix concrete dataset, impact categories use TRACI 2.2 from the U.S. Federal LCA Commons, and several unit and allocation errors in the reference data are fixed.
  • Industry baselines with sources. LEED v5 EPD analysis can compare against the 2026 CLF North American Material Baselines, with the source and table row shown for every value.
  • Latest USGBC addenda and interpretations. LEED v4 heat island accepts initial or aged reflectance, the LEED v4.1 high-priority site poverty path is assessed, project-sponsored transit counts weekday trips, LEED v5 Project Priorities is scored, and LEED v5 project types use their own point tables in more credits.
  • LEED v4.1 Core and Shell totals 109. USGBC addendum 100002600 caps Building Life-Cycle Impact Reduction at 5 points for Core and Shell. VERTIQ follows it and shows a short note wherever you select v4.1 Core and Shell.
  • Reports match your scorecard. Word and PDF reports state your project's own point total and the same certification level as the Scorecard.
  • Energy simulation from an address. A project saved with an address but no coordinates now resolves its climate zone and weather file for simulation, and keeps them.
